YOUR LIFE AS AN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION - AFTER SCHOOL INSTRUCTOR This part-time child development teaching position in human services works during the day.
As an Early Childhood Education - After School Instructor in human services, you play an essential role in supporting school-aged students in age-appropriate activities and homework during after-school hours.
You generate age-appropriate lesson plans for each area of instruction while ensuring safety and promoting active learning.
To keep students motivated, you set up study group homework incentives.
You also maintain daily attendance records for all enrolled students as well as establish ongoing relationships with parents.
In addition, you keep track of our activity supplies and recreational equipment, ensuring everything is in working order.
As needed, you accurately fill out incident reports as well as attend required staff meetings and in-service training hours.
You also help develop and implement weekly rotational schedules for student activities.
